My story

Hi, I'm Attoma Mandji, the founder of Aboka. I'm an educationist passionate about education reform.

I've been working in education for over 20 years, and I've seen firsthand the challenges that students and educators face. I'm committed to using my expertise to help make education more effective and equitable for everyone.

I have a strong understanding of the key concepts and theories of education, as well as a deep knowledge of different curriculums from around the world. I'm also involved in nationwide forums discussing education reform, and I'm always looking for new ways to improve the way we teach and learn.

I'm also involved in nationwide forums discussing education reform, and I'm always looking for new ways to improve the way we teach and learn.

I'm excited to use my skills and experience to support school leaders, government, and education institutions in achieving effective education reform. I believe that by working together, we can create a more just and equitable education system for all students.

Here are some specific things I'm passionate about:

  • Improving teacher training: I believe that teachers are the key to education reform, and I'm committed to helping them develop the skills and knowledge they need to be successful.

  • Creating more equitable learning opportunities: I want to ensure that all students have access to a high-quality education, regardless of their background or zip code.

  • Using technology to enhance learning: I believe that technology can be a powerful tool for learning, and I'm excited to explore ways to use it to improve education.

  • Mandji is one of the most passionate and dedicated teachers I have ever had the pleasure of working with. In his dedication to his vocation, Mandji employs a variety of strategies to teaching and learning, as well as a number of assessment techniques towards achievement of excellent outcomes for his students all the while encompassing a great deal of pastoral pedagogy. His students always exhibit a high degree of contentment, are highly disciplined and self-regulated, and always very engaged. His level of retention and progression was always far above everyone else in his peer group of lecturers.

  • In the time I have known Mandji, he has never stopped learning and has a great passion for continuous professional development, which means he always remains sharply focused with the latest research on education and the best approaches. His overriding approach of increasing student engagement has led Mandji to coin the phrase "democratic classroom" as a mission statement to his style of delivery.
